Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to make a Reservation?

No, but we recommend you do. Groups with reservations are given priority entry. If you prefer guaranteed entry at the time of your choice, make a reservation above. Your reservation and tickets will not be tied together. Your Ticket purchase is seprate from the reservation. This is so if you need to rescheule, you will not lose the ticket you paid for.

What if I have a Groupon or library pass?

You have done half of the steps already. Reserve a time of your choosing above, and show us proof of your passes when you arrive. You do not have to buy tickets a second time if you already have Groupon tickets or a library pass. Just reserve a time for priority entry.

Why does my ticket not have my reservation time?

Your general admission ticket is not your reservation time. Reserving a time does not purchase your tickets, purchasing your tickets does not reserve a time.  This is so you can reschedule your tour time, without having to repurchase tickets.

Can I pay at the Museum?

Yes you can. We offer website payment because it is an easy and contactless way to pay (at the same price as in person). We prefer credit/debit transactions in person, but we also take cash

Why is there only one slot available for a timed reservation?

Before making your reservation, we ask how many people will be in your group. You then purchase the corresponding tickets in the online shop. Buy reserving a slot and providing group size, you are guaranteeing your group's entry of up to 10 people at the time of your choosing. It also helps us mitigate visitor capacity.

What happens if my chosen time is not available?

Reservations are first-come, first-served in that the first person to reserve a specific time gets that one and only slot. If your chosen time is not available, someone else has booked it. Please select the next available time of your choosing .
