Parking
The best parking option when visiting the museum is metered street parking. Generally, meters around the museum are $2.00 per hour, two hours maximum. Please visit the City of Denver’s Street Parking website for more information.
For longer term parking, you may use one of the many pay parking lots within close walking distance. Their prices vary between $5-12 for daily rates.
You may also visit Parking Panda, the nationwide leader in online parking reservations. View real-time availability and pricing at many locations within easy walking distance to the museum.
Once purchased, parking is 100% guaranteed even if the location otherwise fills up. Simply present your purchase confirmation at the selected location. This serves as your payment with no additional payments or fees.
Please do not park in front of the Museum in the spots marked ‘Staff Parking Only’ . You may be ticketed and/or towed.
Public Transportation
The DFM is conveniently located near multiple public transportation options, including light rail and bus stations. Please visit Denver's RTD website for more information on how to use our city's mass transit system.
